Hillside Croft
is a delightful, picturesque sandstone self catering country
cottage with many quaint and interesting features. This
historic country cottage has ancient oak beams in every room,
and the benefit of cosy log fires set under pretty inglenook
fireplaces. Our cottage accommodation
has quality fitted carpets throughout with the benefit of full
central heating, and under floor heating in the kitchen.
Fitted and furnished to a high
standard our pretty Derbyshire country cottage has been given
a 5 STAR grading by the English Tourism Council.
Hillside Croft is set in over
6 acres of beautifully maintained cottage gardens with fenced
fish ponds an orchard and adjoining pastureland. Located
at the edge of the Peak District and just 1 mile from Carsington
water sports centre, Hillside Croft
is an excellent base for walking or touring the area.
Fenced and hedged private gardens
with a gated private drive make this wonderful cottage accommodation
safe and secure for children. Set
in a quiet, but not remote location we offer a private and
relaxing retreat, for those of you wanting peace and quiet
within wonderful scenery.
The gardens have a secluded
patio area, with quality hard wood furniture. A
BBQ and chimera are also provided. There
is ample off road car parking for 10 - 12 cars in a secure
environment. Cycle storage is
provided within the grounds.
This traditional self catering
holiday cottage has 3 floors. There
are 2 shallow staircases between every floor each with a seated
landing area making movement around the cottage for children
and the elderly very accessible and safe.

Ground Floor
Lounge
The main lounge has 3 quality settees, Colour TV with
teletext, DVD, video and music centre. It
has a fireplace with a wood burning stove for those colder
nights

Kitchen
The cottage has a fully fitted antique pine
farmhouse kitchen, with tiled and marble worktops and a
French double pottery sink. There is
a halogen cooker with 2 ovens, a fridge/freezer, chest freezer,
microwave, automatic washer, tumble drier, dishwasher, hoover,
iron and ironing board, coffee maker and every other item you may
wish for in a well equipped kitchen. |
The kitchen and hall have
underfloor heating ideal for those walking boots after a day in the
Derbyshire Dales. There is a downstairs
cloakroom with WC, handbasin There is also
a payphone on this floor.

1 Double bed, 1 z bed, cabinets,
dressing table and triple wardrobe. En
suite facilities with power shower, WC, wash basin and shaving

Normal weekly linen changes are every Saturday
and are included in the cottage hire fees. If extra changes
are required during the week, then a laundry charge of £40
will be charged.
Children welcome,
sorry no pets and no smoking.
All rooms overlook
the gardens, giving beautiful views all-round.
The gardens are
equipped with a patio set and BBQ. There
is a lockable garden shed for bicycles and other items.
Rotary clothes line.

the property is open all year.
